COCA COLA UNETHICAL BUISNESS PRACTICES!

Dear viewers and my friends we all know that when we feel like drinking something in hot weather or when our favorite cricket or football team match is there  or we go to any fast food corner or restaurant we want soft drinks !! at end of sweaty day , match or after food and then comes into play our all time favorite soft drink brand which is coca cola. We are seeing its advertisement since school time and it is now in our veins almost every celebrity has advertised for coca cola and nowadays every  youngster follows the sayings of his/her favorite actor or actress . But do you know something that how it effects our body we will discuss it after this following image of coca cola.

NOW QUESTION ARISES IS IT BAD TO DRINK COCA COLA !! LET US DISCOVER IT TOGETHER .

Coca cola is  a carbonated soft drink manufactured by The Coca-Cola Company. Now let us discover how it effects our body . we all know that sugary things whether it is food , sweet or drink it has very harmful effect on our body especially sugary drinks like  coca cola can cause obesity , tooth decay etc.A can of coca cola can be very harmful to body.

An infographic by the British pharmacist Niraj Naik shows the damage that a 330 milliliter (ml) can of Coca-Cola can inflict on the body within 1 hour of consumption. Naik based the infographic on research by health writer Wade Meredith.
According to Naik, the intense sweetness of Coca-Cola resulting from its high sugar content should make a person vomit as soon as it enters the body. However, the phosphoric acid in the beverage dulls the sweetness, enabling people to keep the drink down.
Blood sugar levels increase dramatically within 20 minutes of drinking the cola, explains Naik, causing a burst of insulin. The liver then turns the high amounts of sugar into fat.Within 40 minutes, the body has absorbed all of the caffeine from the cola. This caffeine causes the pupils to dilate and the blood pressure to increase. By this point, the Coca-Cola has blocked the adenosine receptors in the brain, preventing drowsiness.

COCA COLA UNETHICAL PRACTICES IN INDIA  IT IS ABOUT KALA DERA PLANT!!
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Kala Dera is a large village outside the city of Jaipur where agriculture is the primary source of livelihood. Coca-Cola started its bottling operations in Kala Dera in 2000, and within a year, the community started to notice a rapid decline in groundwater levels. there was imense increase in pollution and depletion of groundwater there and the community itself challenged coca cola and force the closure of plant there .

For farmers the depletion of groundwater was creating direct impact on there income .
For women they have to walk an additional 5 to 6 kilometers just to fetch water to meet the basic daily needs of the family. For many children in Kala Dera, it meant leaving schools to provide a much needed helping hand doing household work since the women had additional burdens.
The community of Kala Dera, as well as the villages of Plachimada and Mehdiganj in India that are opposing Coca-Cola bottling plants, have enjoyed significant international support. And most notable in lending support have been college and university students across the globe, and in particular, the US, UK and Canada - some of Coca-Cola's larger markets.
One of the successful campaigns was at the prestigious University of Michigan in the US, which, after a sustained student-led campaign in which the India Resource Center represented the India issues, placed the Coca-Cola company on probation on January 1, 2006. The university also mandated that Coca-Cola agree to an independent assessment of its operations in India if it ever wanted to do business with the university.
The assessment made four recommendations with regard to the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Kala Dera, making it clear that Coca-Cola could no longer utilize the overexploited groundwater resource in Kala Dera:
1. Transport water from the nearest aquifer that may not be stressed
2. Store water from low-stress seasons
3. Relocate the plant to a water-surplus area
4. Shut down this facility

The community in Kala Dera, needless to say, welcomed the recommendations.
Unfortunately, they still wait for Coca-Cola to make good on the recommendations made by the assessment that Coca-Cola itself paid for.

WHAT WAS COCA COLA RESPONSE TO IT :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Coca-Cola has had seven months to respond to the findings on Kala Dera. We have not seen much action on the part of Coca-Cola that address the concerns raised in the assessment. In fact, what we have seen much of, is an unethical and dishonest campaign by the Coca-Cola company in an attempt to misinterpretation of  the issues. This is purely dishonest and unethical behavior of coca cola.

ZOMATO IN TROUBLE BECAUSE OF ITS UNETHICAL PRACTICES OF DEEP DISCOUNTING IN ITS 'GOLD' PACK

What we do when we feel hungry at night do we go out of house to have some food can we? this is the time when we buzz on zomato and see the ratings of restaurant and order delicious food which is delivered at your door step. We all are lazy beings and zomato have taken its advantage not only zomato but others too.

 ZOMATO GOLD MEMBERSHIP

Now let us talk about zomato gold pack and unethical practices related to it :

Whenever we place order for any product or service our eye first goes on the price and it happens too when we order food on zomato . Now think you liked
some food while scrolling on zomato but its prize is way much high , we always think that why its price is not less now dont worry with the help of zomato gold membership program consumer can avail great deals from gold tagged restaurants ,clubs etc. all over the country and will also get chance order any two complementary drinks isn't it great .

UNETHICAL PRACTICES OF ZOMATO :

More than 2,500 restaurants get against the deep discounting practices of zomato across the country
the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) which was founded in 1982, it represents interests of over 5 lakh restaurants has stated that they will soon take action against unethical practices being adopted by online food app tycoon of india Zomato Gold.

"The NRAI will very soon initiate movement against online delivery aggregators which are affecting the sustainability and growth of the restaurant industry,"
it said in a statement .

It sounds bitter but the restaurants body headed by Rahul Singh has locked horns with Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal who himself has announced to log out of the #logout campaign.

On friday , singh hit back at Goyal by starting new campaign # ZoGoisNoGo.

"We thank Dineout, Eazydiner, magicpin and Nearbuy for rejigging their features to eradicate the deep discounting epidemic.

"However, Zomato has decided to cut all ties through a statement of their assertion of logging out of the logout campaign. From our end, that simply implies #ZoGoisNoGo," Singh said in a statement.

Zomato spokesperson reacted: "We stand by our 10-point improvement plan that addresses the collective concerns of our restaurant partners while keeping our users' best interests in mind."

Zomato has been accused by the NRAI of "unethical" deep discounting practices for its "Gold" prgramme.

The NRAI on August 14 announced the #logout movement to detox customers from discount addiction and give restaurant industry freedom from aggregators who have "distorted a vibrant marketplace by aggressive discounting and predatory pricing".

Moreover there are many more issues and complaints  regarding unethical behaviour or practices of zomato as they provide restaurant location nearby your locality but when you order they say sorry that we could not be able to deliver you food  ,I was like really then why you have listed this restaurant  in your app and some of there employees also behaves rudely. these are unethiacal practices lead by zomato which should be stopped .
